First Day of First Grade

Well we took Kendra to school this morning for her first day of first grade. She was very excited and she was also very hyper. She has her friend Sophia in her class from kindergarten and is very happy about that, especially since she gets to sit next to her (for now!) The teachers, Mrs. Cattanach and Mrs. Strickland are aware that little Kendra is a TALKER!!! Just like her sweet Daddy! Well I was able to get some pictures, sorry that the first couple are blurry, I had to wipe my camera lens off...I think Daddy let little Kaylie play with my camera!
Well Kendra asked me yesterday if I could write her a note in her lunch box, but of course I had already planned to do so. I made her a cute little card and she is going to be so beyond happy when she sees it, she loves little love notes in her lunch! This morning I was doing her hair and I kept some hair down for her bangs to go to the side...then I bobby pinned them in and she looked at me and said "you know I am just going to take those out later?" At least she is telling me ahead of time. Well I better go get a few things done around the house while Kaylie is sleeping. Have a great week!
