Saturday we went to Universal Studios, Adventure Island with Steven, Brenda & Jordan. We had fun, but looking back I think we only went on 1 ride and then to this show that was a little cool but mostly boring. We did have a good time though. It is nice having annual passes so we can go there and only do what we want that day. And Kendra and I got a matching pair of sunglasses, here is the pic and a few others from Universal.

On Sunday Kendra had a bad cough so we stayed home from church. While at home Spencer got an idea to paint our kitchen so he started that night by taping things up and painting the edges/corners in preparation for painting. Mind you, we hadn't purchased the paint and didn't know for sure if we would have time...Well we did and here are some pics of our red kitchen, we love it!! Sorry for the messy kitchen...

I was also a little bored so Kendra and I cleaned under her sink organizing her hair stuff. I found some tiny rubber bands so I decided that I wanted to try to put Kaylie's hair in a pony tail. It totally worked and she looked so adorable!!! I even put a bow on it, but of course!

And last...today we went to Kevin's house at 3 for a bbq to celebrate Labor Day and Kevin's b-day. It was fun. Spencer's sister Joanna was there and she is 26 weeks pregnant, she is due on Kendra's b-day (Dec. 12). Then we came home, straightened up a few things and now I am doing some laundry so Spencer has underwear for his trip. I am a little behind on laundry right now, I was more worried about having a fun weekend. Plus Spencer will be gone tomorrow morning until Thursday morning, but we won't see him until after work on Thurs. Kendra and I don't have much planned this week, we did most of her homework over the weekend since she came back home on Friday night cause we had her for Labor Day weekend. All she has left for homework is a practice spelling test and reading every night for 15 minutes. She is such a great reader. I had her teacher help her pick out a book while at the library this last time. The time before she brought home "One Fish Two Fish" and she already knows all the words in it...but it is one of her favorites. Anyway, the kids aren't allowed to check out books that aren't in their grade level, but the teacher let her bring home a 1st grade book. Ok so this book isn't that hard. She hasn't needed much help on it at all so I am very impressed with Kendra.
I have received a lot of praise and advise on my website. Mostly people wanted to see pictures of the girls in hair bows. Well before people were saying this I was trying to figure out how to add more than 1 picture. I think I have it figured out, now I just have to try it. I am in the process of taking pictures of the girls wearing the bows I am selling so here are a few trial ones, but I don't like them. I am going to take some pics of them in the backyard where there are pretty trees and stuff. Plus I am going to take a picture of them together, Kaylie wearing the bow on a headband and Kendra wearing the larger size bow. I think that will be perfect. But here are the pics anyway...

Wow, what a busy weekend. Your kitchen looks nice. We wanted to do our room that color, but now it wont match our bedroom stuff. Anyway, I like Kaylie's hair up. The girls are cute as usual and you look good too. well, have a good week. I start school Wednesday....Katie, I dont think I want to take that job at the restaurant. What should I do? I already told them yes, but now I want to back out cause I am going to be so tired with school and watching kids isn't easy...
