Ok so Halloween is fast approaching and I took the girls to get their Halloween pictures taken in their adorable Lady Bug Costumes. Oh my gosh, I loved every single picture that was taken, I wanted to buy them all! Anyway, I have the proofs scanned, but like always...they suck. I will get them back on the 17th, but I will be in California. But Kendra's Mom, Crystal, is going to pick them up for me. I had asked if she wanted to come take pics with us so that Kendra could have a Halloween picture with her brother. I am going to have her mail them to me in California so I can pass them out.
Things have been a little busy lately...I finally had a chance today to get the house totally cleaned up, I even mopped the floors. Spencer should be home in an hour and I wanted the house as clean as possible. I want to have everything straightened up before we both leave for our trips. So here is what we have been up to... Kaylie is everywhere!!!! She is usually either crawling around, speeding across the floor in her walker or trying to stand up next to anything in the house. When we went to have our pics taken the photographer was so surprised at how much she could do in such a short time...she had last seen her for her 6 month pictures. Oh yeah Miss Kaylie turned 8 months old yesterday, I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast, but we are for sure not in any hurry for that. I am not pushing her to do anything, ie...crawling, walking until she is ready.
Miss Kendra is busy as ever with soccer practice on Thursday's and soccer games on Saturday's...and now starting in 2 weeks she will have ballet on Friday's. We only have 5 more weeks of soccer so it will only overlap for about 3 weeks and ballet will go until June. I am really looking forward to having her in ballet, she just loves dancing more than anything. She is doing great in school, reading like a pro. I have been working in her classroom every Friday helping her teachers. She loves it when I am there.
Nothing much going on with Spencer and I, we are both looking forward to our trips. Kendra is very sad that she doesn't get to go to California, she really misses the family a lot. I am going to bring her some fun things home though so that she feels better about the trip. Plus I told her that we will probably be going there as a family next year so she is happy about that. Oh yeah, Kendra is going to have a new baby brother or sister at the end of April....
No, I am not pregnant, but her mom is. She doesn't seem too excited for it right now, but I think she will get more excited as her mom gets bigger. She loves a pregnant belly.
Anyway, here are some fun pictures of Kaylie.
Daddy decided to feed his baby girl some spaghetti and she LOVED it! She stood there for about 15 minutes while he fed her.

I painted Kaylie's nails red yesterday in preparation for her Halloween pictures, they looked so cute...but I took it off today.

I'm excited to see the real deal with the pictures! That's a very cute idea to have their pictures taken in their costumes! Kaylie looks so cute standing up to the couch too! Have fun in Cali!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I can imagine that mopping is quite a chore at your house...lots of non-carpet floor!
