Well today was little Kaylie Michele's First Birthday! We had such a fun day. So to start off with, it rained pretty much all day. So the plan to have the party at the playgrounds, well let's just say that didn't happen! That's ok, we just moved the party to our house and guess what??? It didn't rain during the entire party. Of course, that's how things work. It was perfect weather and we were even able to put the bouncy house up and let the kids play in it. We had hot dogs and chips and then we did cake & ice cream. Kaylie didn't have any today because we took her 1 year pictures yesterday and she ate a bunch of it then. I have some pictures of that...it was funny! So after cake & ice cream we did the pinata and the kids loved the candy that came out of this pinata. I picked up some good stuff! Then we opened presents and Kaylie actually joined in on that. The funny part is...I went to have her open another present and she was missing...her cousins took her in her bedroom to play. But she did get some clothes, some great educational toys and an angel fish rocker oh and some money from family in California which will most likely be spent on some clothes and shoes.
We also started Kaylie on Whole Milk today and didn't have a problem at all with that transition. I swear I have been so lucky with Kaylie. She has been breastfeeding for a whole year, but she recently has been great with taking formula the couple times we have had to give it to her and today she took to milk with out a question of what was going on. Anyway, so the day turned out perfect and she is now finally in bed and will hopefully sleep well tonight. I am hoping the milk will help her finally start to sleep through the night.

Wow Katie - will you throw my next birthday party? You are great at it. I don't do so great with tons of people in my house like that. Happy Birthday Kaylie! What a beautiful birthday girl - her outfit is adorable. I didn't get her tiny gift mailed off this last week. Hopefully this coming week though.
