First day of School Traditions

So this year I decided that the few traditions I have weren't enough. So I'm going to list the things that I do to make the new school year more exciting for my kiddos.

Before School:
~ All of the back to school pics that we did, each year I am going to start taking the same type. (Frame/Chalk...)
~ Gift for teacher for Meet the Teacher night (elementary only)
~ Dinner with family the weekend before school starts

The Night Before the 1st day:
~ Story from Miss Trick (loved it and will be doing that same thing each year)...need more confetti!!

1st Day of School:
~ Special breakfast for each kid (their choice)...yes that means making multiple things.
~ Jump picture-we have done this since Kendra started 2nd grade
~ Dessert after dinner with the whole family talking about the first day
~ Lots and lots of pictures & blogging about it!
