Kaylie's Stats

Well now I have a few minutes to give you details on Kaylie's doctors visit yesterday. As you know she had her first 4 shots yesterday, which she totally screamed during. It reminded me of the scream she had when she was born, very sad. The second the nurse was done, I picked Kaylie up and it was like the snap of a finger and she totally stopped crying. The doctor said that they like babies to stay in the office for 15 minutes after the shots just as a precaution, but I had planned on doing that anyway so I could feed her. Since Kaylie was breech they do a routine hip ultrasound at 6 weeks, we are a little late, but we have an appointment tomorrow at the hospital for this ultrasound. I hope everything goes well, I will let you know as soon as we find out. As for her growth...little missy weighs 10 lbs. 7 oz. and has grown 1 inch, she is now 21 1/2 " long. And her head is now 15 1/4". She is somewhere in the 49th-52nd percentile with these measurements. She is a healthy little baby and considering she had shots yesterday she is being great. Kaylie is actually in her swing right now happy as can be, talking away and watching the birdies on the swing. I swear she loves this swing more than anything...but I do need to get her on the floor more so that she can learn to roll over and stuff. She hasn't been fussy at all since she got the shots which I am very happy about, but I guess that could still happen. I just don't think that it will, she is too layed back!
