Mother's Day Fun

Ok so I didn't plan on posting again today, but I have some new pics so I wanted to get them on tonight since I know I have a busy week ahead full of lots of pictures.

Well first of all Happy Mother's Day officially, I know I said it yesterday, but today is the day!!! I was so happy after church today, Spencer & the girls got me a new camera. The one I have is great, but little trouble (Kaylie) has dropped my other camera a few too many times. No, I didn't let her play with it, that girl just gets into crap all the time. I am buying a camera case tomorrow, not taking any freakin' chances with this one. It is so small, black and hecka cute. I totally love it and my husband and of course girls for getting it for me for Mother's Day...he did good! Here are a couple pics of it...

So for Mother's Day we went to church of course. The Primary sang songs for the Mother's. Kendra was one of the few that knew most of the song. Then we came home, I made 2 desserts for our Mother's Day party at Kevin's. And while doing that I finished up the Mother's Day present for my MIL, Judi. I started a scrapbook for her, which I will continue to add pages to as we have family functions and such. Spencer wrote a really awesome note that we put in the very front. It isn't too long, so I am going to add it cause I just loved it.

"Mom we just wanted you to know how much we love you and appreciate everything you have done for us. All of the memories that are piled into this scrapbook are because of you and the righteous way that you have lived your life. There is something to be said about someone like you who is always there for all of us to lean on. You've always been there to listen and give support.
This family owes you everything for all that you have done. You have always been honest and loyal to the gospel and to your family. These traits are invested into your children and its no surprise that others take notice of the blessings that life brings to us all.
Even though you are small in stature your heart is the size of a giant. Helping to carry others burdens all along the way, you have been much like the Savior; never resting until that one lost sheep has been found and brought back into the heard.
All though no one is perfect we think you're pretty dang close. You will always be remembered for your honesty, friendliness and love that has spread to so many.
Your life is a true testament to the gospel and its teachings."

Anyway, here are some pics from the day....

Ok so I didn't get too many good ones of everyone hanging out and such...but, Kevin has a pool and we kept Kaylie out of the back for a while cause we didn't want her to fall in of course. Finally Spencer took her in the back with him...I swear to you she would have dived in if we would have let her. Finally I was sick of her kicking her feet in the water and getting her clothes wet...so I took them off and held her in the cold spa for a little bit...she LOVED it. Here are some super cute pics.
Daddy let me in!!!

And last...some pics of us at home tonight...

Kendra was super hungry so she asked for one of her favorites...grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's what my Grandma Hicken made me all the time growing up and it's so awesome that she loves it as much as I do. Tonight, she helped me cook.
