Summer's Over!

Well I guess I am a bit happy and sad that summer is over. I am excited for Kendra to start school again and she is super excited also. I will miss being able to do fun things during the day and sleeping in late will be missed the most. Normally I would have the week off, well in a sense, when Kendra is with her mom...but you see, Crystal got a job and now Kendra will be over at our house on her weeks starting at 7:15am and then coming back over after school until about 6pm. I am loving that we will get to see her so much more, but no more sleeping in for Kaylie or myself.

So we met Kendra's teacher on Thursday, her name is Ms. Mitchell and she seems great. I have already started helping out in the class by taking home some things to do for her. And we picked up a bunch of things for her treasure box for the students when they earn money in class (play money of course). I am very excited for this school year and really look forward to helping in Kendra's class again. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to, but Spencer thinks that it is the best thing for Kendra so I will... :) It will only be once a week and my friend and I will help watch each other's kiddies so we can help in class.

Anyway, this last week of summer Kendra has been at our house also during the day, even though it is her mom's week. We had a fun time, but it flew by very quickly. She had an assignment to do for school already, a poster all about her and we needed a picture for it so we took some outside, they turned out really cute.

Believe it or not, I didn't get a lot of pictures taken this week...we did alot of relaxing at our house. We did however get a chance to go to the Temple yesterday for an Endowment session with Lisa and Josh. Boy did we need that, it was so nice to be able to get back to the Temple. We took some pictures afterwards, the sun was so stinkin' bright so we ended up with our eyes closed in half of them :)

I got Kaylie's pictures back from her 18 month shoot, well half of her pictures weren't printed because of them being out of focus...so frusterating. So now we have to go retake them, but I am going to get some of Kendra when I do that.

The pictures that were missing were of her in the pink/white polka dress...and I am using the same dress again and trying to get the same poses that I had, they were so cute and I am so sad we have to retake them.
