Anyway, so I have decided to write, obviously huh?!
Ok so let's talk about a really super busy last couple of weeks. Last time I wrote we were headed to the beach to visit Lisa, Josh and Andrea and her family. We had so much fun. We went to eat with everyone at PF Changs and then hung out at Andrea's house with her 5 girls. Kaylie and Kendra had a great time. Kendra especially enjoyed dancing with the girls to Willy Wonka's DVD and both of the girls loved their in home movie theater. Kendra was in ah of their projector screen.

We didn't get much time at the beach, but it was gorgeous....like most beaches in Florida. The weather wasn't so great, it rained and the beach was closed, but we did get time for some pics...of course!

I recently decided that I wanted to start sewing and I wanted to make Kaylie a pillowcase dress and bloomers. Well they turned out so cute! I am so happy that I figured it out. I made both Kendra and Kaylie dresses, Kaylie bloomers and both of them headbands. Here are some pics. Kaylie isn't happy in this picture, she was tired and wanted to go to bed. I am actually considering adding these dresses to my site so I can sell them...I don't know yet though!

And last...oh my gosh. Ok so some of you already know this, but I started a Brownie Girl Scout troop for Kendra. I am the leader of troop #1267. Yes, I have officially lost my mind :) Just kidding, it is fun so far. I guess I can say that since I have only had my parent meeting. That was last night and it went pretty well. I am excited to be doing this and I look forward to a lot of fun with the girls.
As for Kaylie....I am going to look into getting her into a gymnastics class in our area. This little one needs something to do during the day and I think she'd love that. I am going to do the free trial to see what she thinks, then we'll go from there...but I will for sure take lots of pics if and when she does.
Anyway, I have to go, I have some cleaning and organizing I need to get done.

ReplyDeleteLove the dresses!!! I have been wanting to learn how to read patterns for the longest time and make clothes for Olivia (how pioneerish is that?). Looks like you had another fun vacation! Good luck with the brownies.
