Reno and California!

Well as you have noticed I haven't written in my blog for almost a month now. I have a good reason for that...I left to my mom's house in Reno on June 28 (my birthday). Which let me say was one of the best birthday's to be able to spend with my family here since I haven't been able to do that the last 3 years. While I was at my mom's we had a family reunion and it was a blast.

Day one of the reunion we went to the lake and it was the perfect day. My grandparents bought a double sit on kayak and my aunt and I took it for a ride. It was so much fun, although I was worried we would fall off cause I am a little top heavy! LOL We however were able to maintain our balance and stay on the kayak for our short trip. That night we went to dinner and played laser tag with our family only...that was fun. I don't get why they say pregnant women shouldn't play, it was a blast and it didn't seem to harm me...however if it wasn't just my family I guess that would make sense. Oh and then we went bowling, cause we weren't all tired enough yet! It was a really great time and we made the most out of our day.

Day two was spent riding ATV's. At first I was for sure not going, but they said there was a large golf cart type ATV that I could ride with Kaylie. When we got to the place, we first got 2 of the 4 vehicles stuck in the dirt road...then I was told I was too pregnant to drive and that Kaylie could go on the ATV with her dad and someone could drive me on the golf cart deal. Anyway, I started crying cause I was so already emotional that day because I was worried about my baby girl riding on an ATV without me. Everything ended up working out, the people working were more worried about me riding than Kaylie. I ended up riding on an ATV with Spencer, then Deb, then Ryan and then I drove near the end with Spencer on. Kaylie road in the big thing with my mom driving. We had a great time and I am glad I went with. However, it was a bit bumpy for me at during parts so I don't know if I would do it again pregnant, but glad I did this time. Kaylie loved it and I can't wait to post pictures from our trip. Spencer had a fantastic time, however at some point ended up flipping his ATV and hurting himself. He did manage to keep that a secret until we returned to my mom's house...Spencer Spencer! I would put some picutres on now, but I forgot my cord at home....but I'll post plenty when I do get home.

Anyway, so last Sunday (July 6th) Kaylie and I made our way over to my dad's house in Ripon California. I love it here, this is where I lived most of my life. My dad still lives in the house I grew up in from the time I was 4 until I eventually moved out and married my hubby! It was great to get here, but the weather is horrible. It is supposed to get up around 111 degrees, but I swear it has already hit that temp. We are enjoying my dad and have even extended our trip. My best friend, Laura, is having her baby girl on Tuesday and I was planning on leaving Monday...until Brody's mom said he didn't need me for next week so now we are here until next Thursday. I am so glad that I get to be here for this little girl to be born. I was here for her first daughter 4 years ago and of course missed her 2nd one because him and Kaylie were 13 days apart...so I am excited for this. Plus it gives me extra time with my family and my mom is even making a trip from Reno this weekend because we are staying longer. I am glad becuase the last part of my stay at my mom's was spent with our whole family and I love my alone time with my mom. We are spending Saturday shopping for wedding a wedding dress and such for my aunt Deb's wedding.

Only 3 more months until our little guy gets here, so excited!
